Safari is an expert in International Trade, Quality Infrastructure, Standardization and Regional Integration. He holds a Masters of Business Management with specialization in International Business. He also attained advanced training in Legal Instruments of International Economic Relations and Regional Integration, Quality Infrastructure Development in Support of World Trade and Structural Transformation and Industrial Policy  just to mention a few. He is a Quality Management Consultant with more than 8 years of working experience in the field.  Has helped a number of organization and conducted auditing in management system to locally and International Companies e.g Sunda International – Quanzhou China, StarPack, Sharjah – Dubai and in India.

He has extensive experience in working with diverse range of stakeholders both in public and private sector; he has work to the sector to the position of Secretary of National Technical Committee on Standardization and has led Tanzania delegations to various regional and international mission for instance headed Tanzania delegation to ISO/PC 248 Meetings on Sustainability Criteria for Bioenergy held in Chicago, United States of America (USA) in April, 2012. He currently serves as a member of the Editorial Board of Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS).

He has also worked as International Development Consultant with the UK based firm (Landell Mills), as a Key Expert for the ARSO – Intergovernmental organization established by African Union, the then OAU and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa on the project aim to link African farmers with the market.
